NHC General Manager for Finance & ICT Johnny David Earns MBA in Finance

Managing Director of the National Housing Corporation (NHC), Mr. Abel Tol, has congratulated the General Manager for Finance & ICT, Mr. Johnny David, on successfully graduating with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Divine Word University (DWU).

The 43rd DWU Graduation Ceremony for the Port Moresby Campus was held at Caritas Technical Secondary School, where Mr. David’s dedication and perseverance were recognized.

NHC Managing Director, Mr. Abel Tol, praised Mr. David for his determination in advancing both his career and the organization.

“Mr. David has shown determination, courage, and resilience in both discharging his duties and responsibilities as General Manager Finance & ICT whilst attending the Master’s program at DWU.”

“Mr. David was instrumental in getting our financial records in order for the first time after a decade and NHC has submitted its financial statements for 2014 -2024 to the Auditor General’s office for certification earlier this month,” added Mr. Tol.

Since 2023, NHC has prioritized staff training and development, resulting in 20 employees graduating from various institutions.

Mr. Tol reaffirmed this commitment, stating, “Going forward, prominence will be given to training and development to ensure NHC has a dominant and highly qualified workforce.”

Expressing gratitude, Mr. David said, “Thank you, Managing Director, and everyone, for all your congratulatory remarks. I really appreciate all your support, especially our Managing Director, Abel Tol, for the foresight in setting benchmarks for upskilling and promoting learning opportunities for our staff.”

He further added, “I am looking forward to applying my knowledge and contributing positively to the National Housing Corporation.”
